Right?
Like, no one thing in the trailer blew my mind, but all the jokes seem solidly clever. The gags are funny in and of themselves, not just a bunch of "funny because I mentioned something you vaguely remember." I would label my interest as "piqued."
I can't believe they changed his iconic red outfit to orange!
Otherwise, though, it's a great representation of the character as this side-by-side demonstrates.
I decided on Decepticon. I figured between Omega Supreme and Skylynx, the Autobots already had a pretty good representation of big space themed characters that needed someone other than Astrotrain to do battle with.
You can get it from fellow board member Sirtoys website here. Be patient...
Got my Space Combiner from Sirtoys in the mail yesterday:
Combined mode is pleasingly large and bulky. Makes a good rival to Skylynx.
Each component is a bit bigger than a Voyager class figure
Man, I was hoping for a Ransack repaint, but not like this. I was kind of counting on skipping the main Insecticons (since I'm pretty happy with the Core/Legends/Basic/Little-fellers) but picking up the eventual remold into the Deluxe Insecticons. If they're all buried in various multi packs...
Ha! True. I missed out on the first Titan Metroplex because I couldn't afford it. I'm in a better position financially now to where if they had reissued him or, more unlikely, done a new mold, I may have bit. The occasional quick check of ebay continues to convince me that I don't need it at...
Exact same feeling here. I mean, if someone gave it to me as a gift I'd be happy to have it, but I didn't follow the Cybertron cartoon and definitely do not have $200 worth of attachment to the character. The toy seems fun, but not enough to sway me into making the purchase.
I'm totally up...
From the scene where Spiderman is trying to transport Electro into the "prison cell" in Strange's basement. He accidentally transports a tree instead, and when it appears in the cell, Ned asks if it's a tree monster or a scientist that turned himself into a tree.
Another battle master. Thinking of "Longshot" for the name.
Trying to decide if I want to drill a hole in the head and in the tail to string a piece of wire through for the string of the crossbow mode. I might make a couple other small changes to make the arrow sit more securely as...
I thought I had remembered that, but hadn't had a chance to dig up any evidence to support my vague memories.
After a quick look on the wiki, there is a link to a picture of the accidental use of the secondary head from NYCC. I wonder if that would still be a thing they would release in...
I was wondering the same thing. They're treating this figure more as an "adult collectible" than a toy, which makes sense, because kids these days with the hippin' and the hoppin' and the bippin' and the boppin' don't know what Powered Convoy is all about!
