But, I think the theming that fits the best with the silhouettes we've seen so far is actually yokai. These shadowy, kind of crumbled and weird-looking silhouettes kind of remind me the most of classical yokai artwork. Here's a list of possibilities: Ushi-Oni (Ox-spider), Gashadokuro (giant skeleton), Akashita (Red Tongue), Ogama (frog), Kamaitachi (sickle weasel), Itsumade (bird), Inugami (dog), Mikoshi-nyudo (extending neck), Nue (Monkey-Tiger), Yume no Seirei (Nightmare Old Man), Tsuchigumo (Demon Spider). The "Horns" actually looks a LOT like the artwork for a Ushi-Oni or Tsuchigumo. The Human actually does have a similar look to some human-like yokai like Yume no Seirei or Mikoshi-nyudo. So, I think this maybe matches what we've seen on the page the closest. Them having Mythical Zoan Fruits based on yokai could actually be pretty cool.
Hurray for me! (Mind you I ALSO thought they could be Demons or Constellations, too, but lets just ignore the fact that I was just throwing a bunch of stuff at a wall).
Anyway, yes, Saint Saturn is shown to have what is most probably a Ushi-Oni Mythical Zoan Fruit.
Of special note, according the Wikipedia, the Ushi-Oni ALSO has a example of having eye powers, like what we see in this chapter when Saturn makes a Marine's HEAD EXPLODE!

In
Wakayama Prefecture,
ushi-oni are mountain-dwelling beasts. Legend says when a hiker or traveler makes eye contact with the
ushi-oni, the person cannot avert his or her gaze. The person's soul or energy is drained and he or she dies. This is called “
Kage wo kuu (影を食う)” or sometimes "
Kage wo nomu (影を飲む)", which translates to “eating the shadow” or "drinking the soul".
[7][8]
I find the "eating the shadow" part especially interesting. Given that we've seen Gecko Moria's Shadow Fruit steal people's "souls" via their shadows. And the Gorosei are all CLOAKED in shadows. So...is it possible the Gorosei are all so much stronger because they've killed or absorbed a bunch of other people?
I DO like that there's a "5" in the summoning circle. I wonder if ALL the "5 Elder Stars" will have the same 5, or if they'll be 1-4 instead. We know from Baroque Works that Oda DOES like to number his villains in terms of strength.
I wonder if all the other Gorosei are types of "Oni", like this Ushi-oni. Could this tie back to Oars' race? Are the Gorosei using powers they stole from a people that they all but wiped out? And I'm still betting that the One Piece World is hollow with a literal "underworld" where there's these Demon/Oni people waiting to be saved. Kaido and Big Mom have to survive falling into a volcano somehow.
The other Gorosei COULD be mythical creatures from a BUNCH of different mythologies from around the world. Or something completely different.
But, for the moment let's assume that the other Gorosei will also have Yokai-inspired Fruits.
I predict that they will be:
Furaribi (Fire bird)-Marcus Mars. There's a BUNCH of fire elemental bird-like things in mythology. But...this one's actually a Yokai.
ふらり火 ふらりび Translation: aimless fire Alternate names: buraribi, sayuribi Habitat: riverbanks Diet: none Appearance: Furaribi is a small, flying creature wreathed in flames. It appears late at night near riverbanks. It has the body of a bird, and its face is somewhat dog-like. It is a type of...

Inosasaou (Wood Bamboo Boar)-Shephard Ju Peter. For some reason, this isn't listed in a lot of the OTHER online Yokai lists. But, I think it's a "real" Yokai, and not just one made up for video games.

Umibozu (Water Spirit)-Topman Warcury, It could be some other water yokai, but this fits the "blob" we saw in silhouette. Although, a Hanzaki (Giant Water Salamander) could also fit. I kind of want Topman to be the "Tusks", but since his element is water, I can't find a lot of yokai that fit. Ju Peter just fits the "Tusks" better, I think.
海坊主 うみぼうず Translation: sea monk Alternate names: umi nyūdō, umi hōshi Habitat: seas, oceans, bays Diet: unknown Appearance: Perhaps no other aquatic yōkai is as mysterious as the giant umi bōzu. Their true form is unknown. Umi bōzu are only ever seen from the shoulders up, but they appear to be...

Otakemaru (Sword wielding Oni)-Ethan Baron V Nusjuro. Of note, he wielded Three Holy Swords but gave 2 of them away....which reminds me of Zoro.
Ōtakemaru (Japanese: 大嶽丸 or おおたけまる, meaning “great mountain peak”) is a kijin—an oni so powerful and so violent that he is considered both demon (ki) and god (jin) in Japanese mythology. He lived in the Suzuka Mountains on the border of Ise and Ōmi Provinces during the reign of Emperor Kanmu...

Aka Shita (Dark Cloud Red Tongue)- Imu. It kind of makes for Imu to be a cloud, that covers the Sun that is Nika. Although, I am tempted to predict that Imu could be a Ryuto, a light dragon, just because that would be neat.
赤舌 あかした Translation: red tongue Alternate names: aka kuchi ("red mouth") Habitat: rice fields and farming villages; commonly found in Tsugaru Diet: farmers Appearance: Aka shita is a mysterious spirit which takes the form of a dark cloud with sharp claws, and a hairy, bestial face. Its most...

And they might ALL be based on Onryo (Dark vengeful spirits) or Goryo (Vengeful spirits...that end up worshiped as gods in order to appease them). So they might be people who were wronged somehow long ago.

There's a BUNCH more yokai that they COULD be though. These are just my best guesses. I can't wait to see all of them!
