I kid you not, this is one of the pluses that genius fans are going to point to. "Yeah! Now there can be a Cybertruck Transformer!" as if (1) anyone outside of Musk simps want that and (2) this were the only way to get one even if people did want one.

2. when he tried to back out of the deal to acquire twitter, they sued him in order to force him to follow through with the contracts that he signed
3. hasbro isn't trying to get acquired and hostile takeovers are not just 'you show up with a bunch of money and buy the company'

I've seen some folks fearing that Musk might actually be able to purchase Hasbro or D&D. Or laughing at how he'll do it. The thing is, the money isn't there to do it. He literally cannot. Let's review this. First, there's not a buyout clause. He has to approach the board to make an offer.

Yeah, exactly. They COULD license it, but the Cybertruck is such a massively unpopular design, like even a portion of his echoheads seem to dislike it, that I can't see them ever wanting to do it. Though there is a small part of me that kinda wants them to, just and only just becuase it would be funny as hell if the toy sold better then actual vehicle.
