So far I've:

*Taken all the pieces out.

*Assembled accessories and bots in the mode they come in and put together the stand

*Fixed the antenna

* Taken Saber out of Star Saber

*Transformed Saber to robot.

*Taken out BoC

*Put BoC and Saber back together and put them back in Star Saber.

*Transformed Victory Leo to Lion and back.

*Transformed the Micromasters

Not sure when I am going to have time to transform Saber and Star Saber or make Victory Saber. Maybe tomorrow afternoon? Christmas coming up means busy busy Zac.

I took it all out. Got it in Victory Saber mode. And that’s been it. I was eyeballing him today while getting ready for work.
Wish the sword was 1.5 - 2” longer. Wish the wings had an extra .5 - to 1” on them.

Right now, my set is in its combined jet mode but with Saber in robot mode riding atop the combined jet mode's V-Star portion, using the Star Saber helmet's antennae as joystick controls, like this:

Except, the Saber figure's legs are too big to fold up like that, and are instead splayed outward and angled as forward as possible.

I'm a big Boards of Canada fan and it was funny/odd to see the abbreviated BoC written on The Allspark; worlds are colliding!

DNA Designs has a set coming. I love that bigger sword. Everything else, meh. I’m cool with the cannons. Don’t care about the faceplate. Wings are a too big IMO.

I was looking at the old v new and could see no discernible difference. I guess the mouthplate is thicker maybe?

It kinda looks like the eyes blend into the face more than on the official one, which doesn't look any better.

I like the longer blade, but where does it store in jet mode? I presume it's too long to store inside Star Saber's legs.

I have a feeling they just throw in extra stuff noone asked for so they can charge more.

In fairness, that might be more properly "so they can charge an amount that makes it profitable to make the thing someone actually wanted."

It’s only $25 for the set in BBTS.

It would cost more to just shapeway the cannons (and maybe even just the sword depending on materials used).

DNA's new kit consists of the following new parts:

- Longer blade
- Longer and solid cannons (no hollows).
- Longer wings for Victory Leo/Victory Saber.
- New faceplate with "expressive" eyes.

I'll likely get the kit mostly for the blade, the current Blade is ok but much like Legacy Mensor/Motor Master, the blade just doesn't really suit either robot modes, the basic robot, its to big, the combined Saber, its to small

Yet she was careful and pulled out her shield and yelled "Protect Wall!!" and the laser blasts demolishes the three robot bears house enabling Goldlocks to escape her enemies and she laughs until she encounters the Santa bot who catches her and then wraps her up and gives it to the three Bearbots in a nice package topped with a BOW

New blade and cannons look good, but those wings look terrible. If you're going to replace the wings you need to replace them entirely and have them still fold in half. This upgrade wrecks the proportions.

I'm sure there will be a cheaper kit with fillers for the guns and some extra, minor fixes for the set (like better legs for the micromasters?)
