I love combiners. Easily my favorite TF gimmick. That Predaking's an easy pass for me, though. For the sort of prices this is going to undoubtedly cost, I'd expect a whole lot better, particularly for the individual bots.

Yeah, this looks pretty underwhelming atm; and I'm also not fond of Razorclaw just towering over everyone else.

Yeah, he looks like he could just step on the other four.

Is this design even based on anything? Or is it just more of the same generic, overly detailed, "Anime/Gundam-esque" stylized look that was more popular in the 2000s?

That's my problem with it. It looks like the worst sort of third party "reimagining" of the Predacons, without even the impressive robot modes. Just a bad combo of overwrought aesthetics and not great engineering.

Im interested in that Predaking but fear for its size and price.

EDIT and seeing how I just started Macross 7, I guess I kinda have to get Basara Prime huh?

I don't know how much Predaking was but I am pretty sure people will pay $400 but only have a $500 bill. They will hand this to the cashier who will ring it up for $650 and receive $740 in change.

And then it will pan out to Swindle holding a pointer and saying "And that concludes my Ted Talk on Inflation." and cut to Takara's logo.

On a more serious note I was honestly hoping for another Dinoking style mini-combiner, but there's no real chance of that with what we've seen so far.

Mad that we were getting G1 reissues from Tamara as early as 2001, and this is the first time Sunstreaker been reissued (albeit in modified form). Guess the moulding was that difficult to rebuild from scratch…
