Hah, same line of thought, as I ended up looking at the group after this thread and thinking "how did he end up looking like he had a tragic Lego accident?"
The first version is roughly half clear purple painted silver so the shin panel that connects the wing snaps easily. I don’t recommend that one at all. There’s an entirely clear version but I’d similarly advise against it. The currently available gray version avoids breakage with some minor retooling and changing to all opaque plastic. An upcoming battle damage version is arguably most accurate to the show, has a clear purple dark energon saber and an optional Prime arm and a jar to keep the arm in but it’s a bit too dinged up for my tastes, the weathering looks super grainy, the silver lacks contrast with the gunmetal and the wingtips being clear plastic like version 1 is setting off red flags.Indeed. Kinda wished I’d snagged the fish version when it was out. Seeing your pics does make me a lot more interested in buying Dark Master if I can. The shinier version has breakage issues?
Also, is it just me, or his Prime Megs head always looked like a grizzly bear wearing a bucket helmet?
And yeah, the floating shoulder pads were a very odd choice for the PRID Voyager. They’re why i’ve never hunted down Takaras Hades Megatron, even though i love the random chrome and the giant wing pack arms micron.
