Lord, the Pac Man episode of Secret Level was a just a big ole pile of Dubya Tee Eff!
Finished Unicorn Overlord. Final battle was stupid. It’s literally impossible to win without two specific pieces of equipment that I already had equipped but the dumb game unequips them after a mid-mission cutscene and doesn’t tell you, leading to a reset due to boss hax.
Gameplay, graphics and music are top notch. Story is bland but serviceable. Really don’t like how the in-story choices don’t really affect anything (one choice is a strict benefit the other is nothing) and how certain classes are over represented. Sure you can recruit generics but that’s not fun. I don’t like the pushed romance partner but I suppose there was a lore reason for that. Really don't like the bitchy childhood friend trope and she really needs a top that fits. jive looks painful.

Well, jive. Turned out this WTF episode of Secret Level was a "pre-preview" of BN's new title, Shadow Labyrinth. Which uses much of the same WTFery which permeated this weird episode.
