Was content to pass on this mold since the Windblade one really wasn't doing it for me with what felt like a mishmash of shapes with a cockpit glued to the top of it in altmode.
Slipstream's colors in altmode mitigate that effect quite a bit, and even the robot mode torso looks a bit better with the faux cockpit piece being picked out. Making the teal metallic is definitely a good move too. I'd still prefer the null rays to be shoulder-mounted, but the underslung look is kinda neat too.
But what really clinched it was finding out I can swap out the head for this, from the Cyberverse Deluxe Starscream -- and boy does it ever improve the overall look.
I like the model well enough to wonder if I'll warm to the Windblade version with a similar improvement in head sculpts, but the altmode deco would have to be changed up a bit too. (The sword is meh too but I can always repurpose an RID one.) It's one of the better robot modes for a Windblade we've gotten, but even the simpler RID mold has a better executed jet mode.
The Slipstream head will fit the Starscream neck in turn. It even looks a bit more like his Earthspark head (haven't seen it in the show, just guessing based on the box art). But it's just not a head sculpt I like much, and the head's too big to store in altmode.
