It doesn't work GREAT (shoulders are too loose) but I saw something on TFWiki on Deathsaurus being able to hold his weapons in Chicken mode, so I tried it, and now I have Murder Chicken Level 2...

So many people hate the parts forming rear hatch, but it never bothered me, and the rest of the design is just really good. Both as CJ and Bumblebee!
I really dig the "G1 robots from realistic cars" approach. Like I'm glad the chibi VW Beetle SS '86 mould exists for people who want that G1 accuracy, but the realistic car approach from the ER/Netflix mould is so much more my speed.

And I'm with you on the partsforming. The fact that it can so seamlessly integrate into the robot mode means I don't mind it at all.

Partsforming is still bad.

But I think the sheer ferocity of the hate had a lot to do with Cliffjumper being a wave 1 release. People were afraid it was a sign of things to come. But it wasn't.

I don't mind partsforming if it's 'part you detach becomes an accessory for the robot mode' type partsforming.

But the Cliffjumper mold ain't it and no them trying to go 'Well look there's a handle, it's a shield' does not count because A. Cliffjumper does not have a shield and B. it's literally just a chunk of car and was obviously Hastak trying to come up with some way to 'excuse' the partsforming.

I enjoy the mold in its various forms despite it, but i wish that whole chunk didn't partsform off. Apparently it's possible to have it connected via an unfolding armature; i wish they'd done that.

Man, Cybertron Sideways is great. I didn't watch the show, I was just buying toys that I thought were cool enough to fit in with the Classics. Since I didn't really know anything about the character other than he was Unicron-related, I always headcanoned him into basically the Galvatron equivalent from a universe where Unicron had won, now brought over into this universe.

Heh, funny thing about that is, in this particular body was at the point in his life when he was no longer a servant of Unicron.

Ah! See, that's news to me. Seems like Unicron just can't hold on to good employees these days. Everybody just jumps ship everytime Galactus puts up a "Heralds Wanted" sign in the window.
