Wow, not even two acts?

As for the voice, it's
Keanu Reeves
.

And it's been over ten years, I think the Shadow side IS the DLC for the Sonic side.

Can you use Movie Shadow in other parts after playing that stuff?

Though I knew who it was, he sounds gruffer than the trailers. It's possible the game sound clips were recorded first and the movie got more time to refine things. As far as the single Act, it does have way more cutscenes than I was expecting and it's integrated into Shadow's White Space as an accessible temporal anomaly. Also, the Act isn't by itself since it comes with the same DLC that had the Terios skin and a mini soundtrack.

Though Shadow's half is new content, I was meaning new levels for the Sonic half. In the 3DS version of Sonic Generations, there were mostly different zones representing the games than the console version. Of particular note, 3DS gave Sonic Rush a spot with the Water Palace level. People have been wondering if there will be new levels for things like the handheld games that are important but often under represented.

The Game Gear games are a mess but most of them* have ideas I outright preferred. Like their habit of having level bosses that aren't just Robotnik over and over. That train boss is an absolute classic.

*The only exception that comes to mind is Sonic Blast. I'm not saying it doesn't have any ideas I preferred. It's that I never could play that one long enough to find out.

Ah, I see.

And on Xbox, at least, you can buy the Sonic 3 content by itself for $7.99, or upgrade to the full Digital Deluxe version for $15.99.

Oh, yeah, I know. Just saying, this game was a license to print money with DLC, yet SEGA completely passed on doing anything with it until now. Unleashed and '06 and Lost World all got stuff, but their most popular game from that period?

Naaaaaaah.

With that kind of business acumen in play, I think this is pretty much it.

What do you mean? The original Sonic Generations had the Casino Night pinball machine DLC. Isn't that what everyone wants? :p

There's good reason why Triple Trouble got a fan remake. If a Game Gear game got a Generations remake, I'm almost sure that would be it. Seperately, the Advance games badly need a remake or a homage level. Speaking of Advance, while this is probably my last post here this year (to avoid movie spoilers), found this video talking about Advance's animations:

The box office numbers are already hilarious. Current weekend estimates are that Sonic 3 made $62,000,000, while Mufasa made $35,000,000. And this is with Mufasa having a significant unfair advantage, playing in 4,100 theaters while Sonic 3 only had 3,761. Sonic 3 made $16,485 per theater, while Mufasa made only $8,537.

I don't know what Disney was hoping for here, but it wasn't this.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I think disney is shooting for a "new coke paradigm"; where they remake their old stuff and the remakes suck outright, then re-release the old stuff to much acclaim. They're writing off the remakes so it's not costing them much if anything at all.

A billion dollars, but it sure ain't going to recover its costs to make, the lesson to be learned is, not hang on the edge of tomorow but make a good product at a low cost, yet they seem to be hell bent on gambling big only to loose everything, Sonic is on course to be a very profitable film for Paramount, while the Lion King prequel is on course to be another box office dud, I expect when cinema owners finish their deal with Disney over Lion King, you can bet they'll shove that straight to their smallest screens if not out and put Sonic where he belongs, on the big screens and Imax

The sad thing is, from Disney's perspective, this wasn't a gamble at all, any more than making a third Sonic movie was for Paramount. Every sequel, prequel, spinoff, and remake that exists exists because the suits consider it a sure thing. If they really wanted to throw all their chips on the roulette wheel, they'd greenlight something original for a change, like they used to do every year.

The song's inclusion in the movie was 'fist Pump Worthy, the version used not-so-much. After the opening riff, it's slower, not matching the ticking-clock suspense of the scene with the 'Righteous Butt-rock' feel of the original diluted by hosing it down with 'Epic Music' juice.

Just got out of the theater from seeing the movie. There are two end credit scenes, one during the middle of the credits and one at the very end.

Regarding the one in the middle... Three words:
Brotherhood. Of. METALLIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
