FB friend:
If we take just one lesson from Trump and Elon Musk, it should be this: when someone has too much money or too many rich friends, he starts to feel that he is legitimately above the law ... and in many ways, the law will treat him as if he actually is.
If any other CEO's pet project was as much of a boondoggle as the Cybertruck, the board of directors would have fired his ass.

Even the hubcaps were trash, ffs. Since when does a vehicle hit the market with hubcaps so poorly designed that they damage the tires? They've found novel ways to screw up that nobody even thought of before.
Hey Elon, if you really know how to turn a barren airless pile of rocks and sand like Mars into a habitable place, why don't you demonstrate that technique on a barren desert right here on Earth?

There is no way you can terraform Mars if you can't even terraform the Sahara. At least the Sahara has breathable air, Earth gravity, and resupply of spare parts and water that's not >100 million miles away.

Makes sense. He hasn't been super supportive of Ukraine and thinks Ukraine should be the one suing for peace, not Putin. Heck, the whole Starlink kerfuffle with Ukraine proves where his loyalties lie.

Hmm, His communications with Putin and the fact that apparently Russian drones have been using Starlink MIGHT be enough to strip Musk of his citizenship and deport him. Seize his wealth as a Russian asset while we are at it.

Would this also entitle the US government to nationalize all of his companies?

His companies are publicly traded(well, except for Twitter, which he doesn't fully own anyway), but if his assets get seized, that includes his stocks.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

If he actually lied on his immigration forms; not a minor mistake, an actual deliberate lie: The us government absolutely needs to do this to prove that there is still fairness in the justice system and money does not absolve you of your sins.

So of course, they won't.
