Gee, I wonder who else has made similar statements in the past?
Hitler? Stalin? Just about every ******* tyrant despot of the last century?

Napoleon. Though it's from the 1970 film Waterloo and probably a fake quote.

Wait, making someones birthday a national holiday BEFORE they are dead???? Hopefully after he croaks and we get some sensible people back in the US government they rename it to National Immigrant Day.(oh wait, REAGAN declared October 28th to be National Immigrants Day) Maybe National Palestinian American day instead. I don't think they have a day yet. Us trans people do, though the US government won't recognize it this year.

Trump voters fall into two categories:

1: People who haven't read a book since high school.
2: People who have read a book since high school, but it's Atlas F**king Shrugged.
Trumpers pivoted very quickly from "Trump will make us respected on the world stage again" to "OK, so the world hates us and is booing us, but that's OK, they all suck anyway".

It turns out that "respect on the world stage" was just like "blue-collar jobs" and "the price of eggs" and "corruption": all entirely fake and dishonest reasons for supporting Trump. The real reason was always culture-war nonsense.
It's both sad and hilarious that disgruntled Trump voters are complaining that he didn't keep his promises. What the hell did you expect, when you believed the promises of a convicted criminal?

Trumpers always think they're "street smart", not "book smart". But a street-smart person would know enough to be wary of the promises of a convicted criminal and known fraudster. It turns out that Trumpers are neither book smart or street-smart. They're just plain stupid on every level.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

And reactors. And the breeder reactors used to create medicinal isotopes. AND the facilities used to store, handle and distribute those isotopes.

Does it glow in the ******* dark? DOE knew what that jive was, where it was, how much of it was there, and why it was there specifically.

Vonschitzinpants and muskrat are threats to national and global security: they need to be removed.

If you voted for a guy whose signature catch-phrase is literally "You're fired" and you're shocked that he's mass-firing people, you're too stupid to vote.
No, Trump voters, you don't get to complain that DOGE is hurting people indiscriminately. You voted for Trump because you WANTED him to hurt people indiscriminately. You said things like "we need someone who will burn down the whole system". Do you think we didn't hear that?

Well, now you're getting what you voted for. This is EXACTLY what you voted for. All of these indiscriminate cuts are YOUR fault. And no, you can't ask for humanitarian exceptions: you WANTED someone who would not care about humanitarian exceptions.

How else can you explain wanting to eliminate all foreign aid? Don't you think there's a human cost to doing that? Of course there is, but YOU DIDN'T CARE, and you specifically voted for a man who you knew wouldn't care either.

ALL OF THIS is what you voted for, so if you don't like it, then f**k you. If your husband or your father or your son or daughter lost their job because of this, don't blame anyone but yourself. You did this.
Millions of Trump supporters talk about trade deficits without having the slightest idea what a trade deficit is. They just know that it sounds bad, because it has the word "deficit" in it.

A trade deficit does NOT necessarily mean you're getting ripped off. If you buy $100 worth of lumber from me, you are running a trade deficit of $100, but you didn't get ripped off. You got $100 worth of lumber. The value exchanged was equal.

In fact, if the lumber is on sale and you get $100 worth of lumber for only $80, you're still running a trade deficit of $80, but you actually got a good deal, which is the opposite of getting ripped off.

It's sad that something like this needs to be explained.

Really stepping to to the courts and Congress and saying "Make me." now isn't he?

*edit*
Just read the article, it sounds like it's mroe about the regulations to enforce the law than the laws themselves. Good luck to that AG if he's now going to write all teh regulations himself because he's gonna have to pull a lot of all-nighters.
