Another week in March means another Transformers 40th anniversary Fanstream from Hasbro Pulse! As you might have guessed, there’s little (read: probably nothing, if you’re reading a site like this) here that you haven’t heard about already, unless you avoid leaks like the plague. Still, we get some nice shots and turnarounds of the latest batch of characters who are ready to roll out, including Beast Machines Cheetor, Armorizer Shard, Cybertron Starscream, Cyberverse Chromia, Beast Wars Silverbolt, Generation One Sandstorm, Generation One Gears, and Origins Wheeljack, the latter of which will be available in short supply on Hasbro Pulse and otherwise exclusively at Target.com, though pre-orders are already sold out. If you’d like to talk about these, or anything else from the Transformers: Legacy toyline, then head over to the “ Transformers Legacy toyline” thread in our forums. Not a member? Register now! It’s been a cup of Joe since the last time we saw a trailer for Wrath of Cobra, but the MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Showcase 2024 never gave up, and were always there until they could provide some more footage of the game over land and sea and air. While the previous trailer focused on single-player action, Gung-Ho, Snake-Eyes, Roadblock, and Scarlet are here to highlight the local and online multiplayer that supports up to four members of America’s elite. We also get a look at what appear to be some of the characters’ super moves and taunts, too, as well as some new varieties of Cobra troops and hardware. C.L.A.W.s and Trouble Bubbles and H.I.S.S. tanks, oh my! If you missed our previous coverage, then be sure to click right here for another trailer, screens, game details, and more! (Well, not more, actually. That’s about it.) Our International Heroes will be there in the second quarter of 2024 when G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra comes to Nintendo Switch and Steam for the PC, courtesy of developer Maple Powered Games (how ironic) and publisher Freedom Games (how apt). If you’d like to talk about this, or just crash through the sky with an evil cry of “Co-BRA!“, then head over to the “G.I. Joe thread” in our forums. Not a member? Register now! For the last couple of years, Hasbro’s official YouTube channels have provided a convenient, easy, and above board way to view episodes from many of the television shows they’ve produced over the last several decades. But is that about to come to an end? It may be nothing, but in a curious move, the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel has gradually removed the first four episodes (the “More Than Meets The Eye” 3-part pilot and “Transport to Oblivion”) of the original Transformers: Generation 1 cartoon from their dedicated playlist. Or rather, they’ve set them to private, which is really the same difference for those interested in seeing them: Will the episodes come back? Is this just the first of the gradual removal of the series from the platform? It’s difficult to say, especially with the way the series are almost haphazardly placed across the platform. Power Rangers, for instance, is uploaded to the Power Rangers Official channel, but Transformers: Generation 1 is on the Hasbro Pulse channel and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero is on the Hasbro official channel, despite each having their own dedicated official channels, respectively. We’ve reached out to Hasbro Pulse to get a statement on the matter, but as of press time, we have not yet received a response. We’ll keep you posted if we do find out anything more. In the meantime, if there were any Hasbro television series you were planning to watch on their YouTube channels but have been sitting on, this may be a hint that it would be better to get to watching sooner than later. What do you think? Would a takedown of Hasbro shows from YouTube affect their availability to you and your viewing habits? Or do you have everything you could want safely tucked away on your DVD/Blu-ray shelf? There’s no thread on the topic yet, but you can still start one over in the Transformers Discussion section of our forums! Not a member? Register now! Transformers Legend Ron Friedman, known as the Man who killed Optimus Prime for writing the first two drafts of the 1986 Transformers the Movie, has launched a GoFundMe for his and his wife's medical bills as well as to relocate nearer to the hospital where they receive their care. Fun nets? Bath bombs? Fishing equipment?! Why do all these things have the Transformers license on them?! Because it makes money, of course. We touched on some of these goods previously, but that was only the tip of the iceberg! Join former Transformers Creative Manager Rik Alvarez once again, as he continues his trip down Licensing Memory Lane in these three additional videos from his TFCon panel: How many of these do or did you have? You get Soundwave as the Dreadnok Thunder Machine in the newest Transformers Collaborative G.I. Joe x Transformers offering, of course! Have a look and see for yourself! Now, doesn’t that just make you want one of these sets more than ever? I know I do! And if I had $99.99 USD to drop on this glorious piece of kit, I could do so right now by heading on over to Hasbro Pulse, where orders are open right now!
