I don't think the leg cars split. Looks like the leg car's backpacks just form the foot. The whole lower legs looks to be able to attach either "forward" with no car on it so that the purple bit is the foot and the trailer chunk is the heel spur, or "backwards" with a car on it so that the car...
No, it definitely looks like Motormaster is the torso. Menasor's chest is Motormaster's back. The truck grill becomes the shoulders. The trailer just becomes the arms and legs (and maybe hips?).
EDIT: After watching the livestream, I retract that statement. Menasor's chest is definitely...
I like it. I think Menasor will look great once the rest of the Stunticons are attached. As I've mentioned before, I wouldn't want this style of combination for any other gestalt, but since there is precedence for this look on Menasor, I think it works.
EDIT: Also, better pictures are up at...
Yeah, the backpack is a tad awkward, but from the back-of-the-box picture, it looks like maybe it folds up a little better than the loose pictures would imply. Car mode is very nice.
Yeah, the original toy my son got was from here in the good ol' U. S. of A., so at least some of these are to be found domestically.
The e-bay lot, though, I did buy from a seller in France (specifically, a seller that goes by mfr72). He has a ton of these things along with a huge variety of...
The other day, my kid was opening a Kinder egg, and got a little robot dimetrodon figure. I noticed how well he complimented Sights:
I realized that he naturally lent himself to being turned into a little Battlemaster himself. I ended up buying a lot of these little "Kinder Infinimix"...
I just like the look of the old Thrilling 30 mold, and ChessPieceFace happened to be selling one.
I updated my Trailbreaker, since I think the new toy looks more like Trailbreaker, but I stuck with the old mold for Hoist and now Lift Ticket. Nothing wrong with the new one, I just didn't feel...
I just got mine, too! Along with him and the Lift Ticket I bought from ChessPieceFace, I put together a quick "Team Diaclone" picture:
Edit: It's a combination of Diaclone's limited color palette as well and my limited amount of Diaclone-reference Transformers, but I love the unified color...
That is absolutely how I remember it, too. After years of the occasional G1-inspired repaint of AEC molds, the very idea that there would be actual-and-true updates of G1 characters was new and exciting. It also helped that the toys were, for the most part, very good toys that still hold up to...
My wife picked up Bulkhead for me the other day, and I've been even more pleased with him in-hand than I was expecting. Animated was one of my favorite series, so I've been wanting to see a "Generations Style" Bulkhead for a long time. When the first pictures came out, I was glad he was...
Based on this bit of description from the listing:
"2 EPIC MODES: Crankcase action figure converts from robot to off-road vehicle mode in 14 steps. Remove the front grill of vehicle mode to reveal a large blaster accessory"
it would definitely seem to be something new. There hasn't been...
