According to the wiki, the original script spelled it "quartrex", but Chris Latta clearly omitted that second 'r'.

Hmm, checking the script archives, the full script does say "quartrex", but the dialogue script says "quartex".
That raises even MORE questions. Like how many quartrex to a quartex, how many quartex to the gallon, how many gallons per Shanix, and how many cortexes to do these conversion factors?!

I would assume he'd have the cartoon accurate purple wings rather than the off model wings from Triple Takeover, which this version emulates.
They do look very nice. And you know what? If these were released individually in a prior era (you know, when Takra's offerings were different and often more detailed), I would have happily jumped on them. As it is now, I really don't want another iteration of the Astrotrain mold, I already have multiples of Coronation Starscream, and I'm happy enough with that Blitzwing mold.

Astrotrain's Triple Takeover wings shouldn't be considered an error. Every other episode is wrong.
I can dig it. Triple Takeover is Astrotrain’s biggest role where he’s not a space-Uber. Sure there’s the episode when those aliens worshipped him as god and the episode where Optimus said boobies but those could have him replaced with any other Decepticon and be exactly the same.
Ironically, it's in being a space Uber that he isn't so easily replaced by any other Decepticon.
