The things are dirt cheap here as well but I just can't set aside the space for an army of tiny nontransforming novelties, many of which I already have several transforming figures of.

these two are the best. Just because of them I’m thinking if expanding the hive.

They look like they're about to make their intergalactic pro wrestling debut there. Just needs some entrance music.

I HATE buying blind box stuff, much less at Walmart.

Snagged the last 3 at my local store (in the crafts/sewing area, btw), they looked sealed. But when I got the boxes open, they had clearly been opened and resealed. I did get a nice mix (Jazz, Megatron, Ironhide), but it still irks me that someone had not only opened them, but likely increased the chance of a lost part (haven't put them together yet).

At least it's generally clear where parts are supposed to end up. It's just getting them there that looks hellish. And even that is theoretically simple, just stupid. Part needs to go from A to B. So unfold the spaghetti until A reaches B. It's the most complicated way to take the most direct route through geometric space.

Yeah and getting rich is just moving money from the bank into my pocket.

I guess this must look easier in whatever CaD software they’re using.

All that effort just to get THAT robot mode. I mean, I like the late-IDW1 Prime design, but they didn't even come close to the right proportions.

Still, at least it's not as bad as some of the 3P Bayverse designs that basically have to explode inside-out to try to get both modes to work. Especially the Devil Savior Constructicons. Those things hurt just to look at, I'd never want to handle them even if I didn't find the design ugly as hell.

The craziest bit is that this Optimus design isn’t even all that complex conceptually. Aside from the usual Optimus design problem of handling the grill/abs, all the major truck parts show up on the robot mode more or less untouched.

My favorite part is how some slices of the windows fold away so nearly identical slices can take their place. All this and they can't even brag that they achieved zero fake kibble.
