I had a few. Mystery Big Lots robots were my favorite toys before I got my hands on real Transformers.

Man, I do miss them. I loved the days of being able to go into almost any discount store like Big Lots or Tuesday Morning and walk out with some kind of bootleg robot.
I loved when they had the oversized Machine Robo Rescue combiners! And then there was the really off-the-wall stuff; I know somewhere I have a combiner that uses oversized Legends Vector Prime and Cyb Starscreams for limbs.
Maybe the bugs were single packs, but for some reason I only remember multi-packs at Big Lots.

I don't even remember the last time I saw a knockoff transforming robot that was worth grabbing...
I buy quite a few since they also like using 5mm pegs and some of them have very cool weapons
The most recent one I can remember getting is the knockoff Prime Terrorcon set at Family Dollar. Besides that, it has been years since I've found any decent knockoff transforming figures at the usual discount stores. (EDIT: Take that back, there was also some combiner KOs at Tuesday Morning a couple years ago, including Multiforce) If they carry anything at all, it seems like they have Transformers Authentics. Which some might argue are knockoff-adjacent...

I thought the armor thing had too much black. This helps the g1 accuracy but jetfire’s destined to be a sea of white. Wish the armor at least exposed the cockpit. Really needs his antennae too.

Those are Thrilling 30 Jetfire's antennae. Something clearly referencing G1 Jetfire should have double barreled guns sticking straight up for earwear.
We need more better dollar stores around here...
Haven't moved my Alternators to my new house yet, but I have an extra Skids from a flea market so, with the arrival of Agent Knight today, I was finally able to do a side-by-side comparison to decide that, yes, Alternators is the line that he fits in best with.

I wish they'd remake those (and Che and Mechatron) as Titan Masters and vehicles. Or just straight up Battle Masters.
Kinda surprised that Rav and Cro haven't been redone as repaints of some random bird bot. Hell, make them from Laserbeak, add to the cassette hordes.
