I'm not 100% sure on that. The Supreme Court has been a bit of a wildcard since Trump left office the first time. They'll tow the line on one case and then make a surprise decision on the next. We shall see. Not sure why the President would even have the authority to force congress into recess anyway. The only way for him to even come into the conversation is if say the House votes to adjourn but the Senate does not, or vice versa(remember, Rick Scott is the only contender for Senate majority leader who seems to be willing to go along with the plan to rubber stamp all of Trump's nominees, and I don't think he has the votes to get the position). Given the narrow margins in the House and the fact that the Senate's lead isn't huge, I do have a little faith that Trump won't be given the chance to adjourn congress.

It is mostly the same Supreme Court and the conservatives were the most against it. All 9 were against it.

Well, car parts. No one ships entire cars over the ocean anymore except to places like Australia. Other than enthusiasts buying foreign cars that are over 25 years old for the novelty value.
A professor I used to work for would buy a new Volvo in Europe every few years, drive it around while he was on his sabbatical over there, then ship it to his home here in the US. Apparently doing so got him a great deal between exchange rates and tax laws qualifying the car as "used" by the time it was being shipped back to the US.

Of course, this is a single person, so I doubt it scales enough to properly contradict your real point.

Well, Trump DOES want to devalue the dollar in a poor attempt at bringing manufacturing back, so that checks out. The rich will be able to move their investments to other currencies before he does, so they'll be fine, but the bulk of us....

I have a fair amount of money saved up, and despite my bank informing me that I'm finally eligible to move it to a new account that pays non-bullshit amounts of interest, I have half a mind to pull it all out and invest it overseas instead.

Trouble is, I already did that the last time our economy imploded, and I ended up getting burned by Greece.

Cool. Let him dismantle it, let him scatter jive to the wind. And then, when a major terrorist strike kills thousands, let the Tangerine Anus reap the benefits of an angry population.

Just like the population was angry about how his admin killed the pandemic response stuff pre-COVID? The people who care will care regardless, the population at large won't, or at least won't associate it being mostly dismantled with a terrorist attack slipping through.

IF there is a terrorist strike during his tenure his supporters will murder anyone and everyone in proximity to them with a skin tone darker than "mayonnaise" as acts of retaliation and he will cheer them on while they do so.
